COMPLIMENTARY CNE ENTRANCE, PARKING, BUS & TRAIN TRANSPORTATION

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF PARKING AVAILABLE IN AND AROUND THE CNE, WE HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE
OF PUBLIC TRANSIT.
IN ADDITION, THERE ARE NUMEROUS ROAD REPAIR PROJECTS ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE CITY DURING THE SUMMER WHICH WILL CAUSE MAJOR TRAFFIC DELAYS.

COMPLIMENTARY ENTRANCE TO THE CNE GROUNDS ON WARRIORS' DAY
(UP TO 12 NOON) FOR VETERANS

Veterans and their families may apply for complimentary CNE tickets by completing the Family Ticket Application Form and mailing it to the Ticket Chairman no later than August 5th, 2011.

COMPLIMENTARY CNE PARKING FOR VETERANS ON WARRIORS' DAY
Free parking in CNE parking lots on Warriors' Day for Veterans. Vehicle must have an official Canadian or U.S.A. Veteran's license plate to qualify. PLEASE NOTE, PARKING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

 

COMPLIMENTARY BUS & TRAIN TRANSPORTATION

SPECIAL NOTE: To qualify for free rides, Veterans should identify themselves by wearing their medals, uniform or by carrying their discharge papers.

Where a transit company may offer free rides for immediate family members of war Veterans, these individuals should carry the deceased Veteran's service papers and identification showing family connection to the deceased Veteran. Questions should be directed to the appropriate transit organization.

Brampton Transit

World War II, Korean War or Merchant Marine War Time Veterans who live in Brampton ride for free year-round. Application forms are available at transit offices as well as the local branches of the Royal Canadian Legion.


Mississauga Transit

Veterans ride for free on Warriors' Day and Remembrance Day.

Waterloo - Grand River Transit

Veterans ride for free year-round. A special lifetime Veterans pass is required, click here for info and an application form.
