SPECIAL NOTE: To qualify for free rides, Veterans should identify themselves by wearing their medals, uniform or by carrying their discharge papers.
Where a transit company may offer free rides for immediate family members of war Veterans, these individuals should carry the deceased Veteran's service papers and identification showing family connection to the deceased Veteran. Questions should be directed to the appropriate transit organization. |

Veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces can ride for free on GO Transit year round when travelling with their Veteran’s Service Card or a Canadian Military Service ID. This includes regular and reserve force members.
